Create Your Very Own ‘Cork It’ Wine Pong Game!

It’s been a very snowy winter in Michigan and one of the only things that has helped banish the winter blues for us has been staying entertained with friends on the weekends!  There’s nothing better than laughing and hanging with your besties and we’ve been blessed with some of the best!! 

At one of our most recent gatherings, I introduced a new game to my friends! It’s been so fun and entertaining and we are totally addicted!  The game is called ‘Cork It’ Wine Pong, and it’s basically a wine-lovers take on beer pong. The best part is that I actually made the game board myself!  The gist of the game is seeing who can land the most wine corks inside the wine glasses on the board!  It’s quite a challenge to get those corks to land in the right spot, especially when you factor in wine consumption!! (We have to collect those wine corks to play the game somehow, don’t we?!?!)

To make ‘Cork It’ I created a slanted wood board for the game with cutouts to hold the wine glasses and then gave it my own special Grammie’s Furniture Paint touch by painting and glazing the board to really make it a showpiece!  I think it turned out beautifully and now all of my girlfriends want to make a ‘Cork It’ game of their own!

So in honor of fun times with friends, I am hosting a special class called “Create Your Very Own ‘Cork It’ Game” which will take place at Gerych’s Special Events and Floral Design!  The class is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 from 6 pm – 8 pm!  The cost of the class is $70.00 and includes all of the materials you will need to take home your very own ‘Cork It’ Game!!

We are so excited about this class because it is truly a celebration of friendship!  Crafting is fun, but it is so much better when you can have some cocktails with friends and share the experience with others!  And having the craft center around a game that will enhance all of your gatherings with friends makes this class the gift that keeps on giving!!  (Just an FYI…..Gerych’s does allow you to bring your own adult beverages to the class!!! 😍🥂🍷)
